This is a vented replacement cap for our overflow catch tanks, recovery tanks, and power steering tanks that come with our 77-251 and 77-251V caps. It functions the same as the 77-251 and 77-251V but offers a different look. It you are not sure if the cap you are replacing is non-vented, check underneath the cap. A non-vented cap will have no vent hole underneath where a vented cap will have a small hole close to the center of the cap.
