Our supercharger/crank strut configurations for 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L mate the supercharger input shaft with the crankshaft to eliminate any possible mounting plate flex. Another benefit is a significant reduction in crank snout sideloading from the supercharger belt when put into high levels of tension (common with EFI/Renegade applications with an 8-Rib belt). Grade 8 mounting hardware is included. Strut packages are not recommended for sustained highway/street use.
