Original equipment on the 2012 Boss 302LS, this Torsen T-2R differential from Ford Racing will fit all 2005-12 Mustangs, and any other Mustang with an 8.8 rear end that has been upgraded to 31 spline axles. This Torsen differential features full time torque sensing and torque biasing with a torque bias ratio of 2.7. Unlike conventional speed-sensing, limited slip differentials, TORSEN T2-R is a full time torque sensing, torque biasing system. Torque and differentiation are continuously managed between the two axles and biased instantaneously according to variable road conditions. TORSEN T2-R's patented parallel gearing system is designed to perform for the life of the vehicle. The TORSEN T2-R takes the T-2's performance to the next level. By combining the patented Equvex gearing from the TORSEN T-2 with friction enhancing plates, the T-2R allows improved mobility an traction under the most extreme conditions.
