These hot heads are machined from T356 aluminum alloy and come fully assembled with a three angle valve job, 1.90 Intake / 1.60 exhaust stainless steel valves, heavy duty valve springs, retainers and keepers. Edelbrock takes the extra step to CNC gasket match the intake and exhaust ports and hand smooth the valve bowls on every Performer head they sell. So your heads are ready to make horsepower right out of the box. They are a direct bolt on with stock rockers and headers, or most any aftermarket replacement. High flowing exhaust ports and .625" thick deck surface make these heads great for cars with superchargers or nitrous oxide.
